CRC Robotics Presents MØ-DUEL 2026: A Celebration of 25 Years of Innovation, Collaboration & Inspiration
CRC Robotics is thrilled to announce MØ-DUEL 2026, the highly anticipated 25th anniversary edition of Canada’s premier, bilingual, multidisciplinary student robotics competition, taking place February 18–21, 2026 at the St. Pius X Career Centre in Montreal, Quebec. This year marks a quarter-century of empowering young innovators to build, program, and compete with ingenuity, creativity, and teamwork.
Over the past 25 years, CRC Robotics has inspired thousands of students from coast to coast, bringing together robotics, programming, multimedia, design, and arts in a uniquely holistic learning experience. Founded in 2001 to fill a gap in accessible, student-driven robotics competitions, CRC Robotics has grown into an educational program under the non-profit organization, the Educational Alliance for Science and Technology (EAST), and continues to foster leadership, problem-solving, and collaboration for tomorrow’s leaders.
MØ-DUEL 2026 challenges competitors to design and build robots that strategically repair, exchange, and deploy wooden turbofan engine modules to earn points in collaborative and competitive heats. Robots begin play from one of two starting zones and must execute dynamic game strategies in 5-minute matches to outscore their opponents—and each other. In addition to the robot tournament, the CRC Robotics Competition features multidisciplinary components
including:
- Programming Challenges where students solve real-world problems with code.
- Kiosk Presentations showcasing team branding, creativity, and technical documentation.
- Website & Video competitions highlighting storytelling, digital design, and communication.
This four-day event brings together 25+ teams of high school and CEGEP students from across Canada who will demonstrate months of dedication, creativity, and engineering prowess. Through the CRC Robotics Competition’s fair and inclusive format, every student experiences the thrill of competition alongside meaningful feedback and mentorship from experienced judges. CRC Robotics also proudly includes a Junior Division, welcoming elementary and early high-school students to explore robotics through age-appropriate challenges, nurturing curiosity and innovation from an early age.
